Dr. Ramona Kennedy, a Bloomfield High School graduate, attended Montclair State University and graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science degree with in Biology with Chemistry minor. She continued her education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as Rutgers School of Biomedical and Health Sciences) receiving her Doctorate in Dentistry (D.M.D.) in 2004.
In her spare time she volunteers to help battered women and at Toni's Kitchen in Montclair feeding the needy, healthy, nutritious, and tasty meals.
Dr. Ramona Kennedy loves Dentistry because it allows her to work with her hands and by doing cosmetic work; it makes people feel better and more confident about themselves. Her favorite part of her day is the interaction with her patients and meeting new people and friends.
As a child, Dr. Sharona Kennedy was inspired to be a dentist by her own experiences as a patient. It was very important for Dr. Sharona to one day be a healthcare provider that offers as pleasant experience while helping others.
After graduating from the top of her class in Montclair State University and continued her education at Rutger University's School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Sharona Kennedy entered one of the most challenging Residency programs in the state at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and her aspirations became a reality.
Today she prides herself on making her patients as comfortable as possible and giving them the most calming & pleasant experience she can. Believing that education is a lifelong pursuit, Dr. Sharona attends many dental continuing education lectures every year and always practices at the highest level of care as a dentist.
